HOW TO PRODUCE YOUR HIGHLIGHT VIDEO CLIPS TO PUT ON YOUR FREE PLAYER PROFILE
I have some game videos I would like to upload on my Player Profile. How do I make a small highlight of about 10 plays. Where do I begin?
Most High Schools have a media department. The Media teacher or one of the students should have no problem helping you produce a 10 clip video highlight from your game films. If they can't help you then you will have to follow these steps or pay us or someone else to do it for you.
The process of making your videos available on the Web can be broken down into five steps.
-
Record the footage with an analog or (preferably a) digital camcorder.
-
If your camcorder is analog, there is an extra step and piece of equipment you need to transfer the video to a computer using an analog-to-digital converter (for VHS tapes) or a FireWire cable (for miniDV and Digital8 camcorders).
-
Edit the video to remove the parts you don't want to keep. If you want to be a bit more hands-on with your video, most new computers come with basic video-editing software installed. ( Apple's iMovie or WindowsMovieMaker) Once you have copied the video from your phone, camera, or camcorder to your computer, you can bring the video into these programs. Most allow you to not only edit the video, but add effects, titles, and music to make your video look and sound more interesting.

Upload the video on your FREE Player Profile
Here's how it Works if We Have to Do Your Video
The Student-Athlete fills out the Personal, Academic and Athletic Forms to build their FREE Player Profile. You can upload Photos and Streaming Video Highlights.
If you don't have the ability to build a video highlight and hire us to do it for you, your head coach needs send us the VHS Video tape after every game.
We create a master disk of all of the games that season. The master disk will be sent back to the student. The student member will pick out the plays that they feel are the highlight plays of their season.

CollegeVideoScout burns those plays into a highlight disk with all their best plays and can provide as many disks as they need to send out during the recruiting period.
The athlete will be able to email a link to any college coach. Where upon opening the emailed link the first thing the coach sees is the athlete's athletic and academic information that has been verified by their coaches and guidance counselors.
When a college coach is interested in seeing more information on the athlete they will be invited by hot link to open a free account at CollegeVideoScout to gain access to your player profile
The coach can privately communicate to with the Student-Athletes and request all academic transcript information on the student and a highlight disk.
If you don't have a highlight DVD CollegeVideoScout can provide you with as many DVD highlight disks as requested by college coaches.
